For All The Right Reasons
A few years have gone by
But I still do think of you
And the days full of smiles and fun
Our lives might have changed
But our past still exclaims
Of a time that's more real than today
Have our bridges all been burned
Or can we possibly return
To a summer that for me never ends
There's a fortress in my mind
That I often hide behind
Remembering the time
That we had to say good-bye
And thoughts of how we met
So don't forget
For all the right reasons...
Another day another dollar
Reality can be such a bore
I know I can't but I'd like to see you once more
I sometimes wonder now and then
Of what waits for me around the bend
Is it possible to replace such a friend
This moments over I've had some fun
Remembering the things that we've done
And I'll get back to you again before to long
Another place another time
I'll never leave your memory behind
Again we face the time
That we had to say good-bye
With thoughts of how we met
So don't forget
For all the right reasons...
