On September 11th, 2001, Gary lost a close family member. He felt compelled to take action in the form of music, and join other singer/songwriters in an effort to pay tribute to all those affected by the tragedy. Along with Jerry Keeley, Lorraine Ferro, Gail Pizzigatti & Stephanie Bennett, Gary founded a non-profit organization called Sounds Of Hope NYC. On September 11th 2002, Sounds of Hope released a compilation CD featuring the music of 27 artists and songwriters to promote healing through love and music.

Gary's original song, "Show Me", is the songwriter's personal appeal to God for some help in these very troubled times, as revealed in the chorus lyrics: "Show me how to face tomorrow... Show me how to live your love... Take a chance on me sweet Jesus... And, Show me that you won't give up on us"

Sounds Of Hope NYC is proud to have organized concerts on the one-year anniversary of 9/11 and also proud of it's success in proclaiming it’s message of hope, love, healing and consciousness through music.

Gary, whose song catalog boasts several hundred songs, continues to collaborate with other songwriters and artists from his home studio. His passion for music lives on…
